PRAYAS is an Early Intervention and Child Development Centre dedicated to supporting children with all kinds of developmental disabilities. Our focus is on neuro-pediatric rehabilitation and early intervention, helping every child achieve functional improvement and independence. Through standardized assessments, clinical observations, and parental inputs, we design need-based, customized treatment programs for each child. Our services include: Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy, Special Education Language & Communication Therapy, Group Therapy & Festive Activities
I am a Consultant Occupational Therapist, with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) from the National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD), Kolkata (under West Bengal Health University), and a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) from SVNIRTAR, Orissa (under Utkal University). I specialize in neuromuscular hand rehabilitation and bring over 10 years of experience in pediatric and stroke rehabilitation. My career began as an OT consultant at NIPCCD, Guwahati, followed by service at LGBRIMH, Tezpur.
